Spark plug leads

I bought these from the same seller many years ago (after a post on here) - no complaints:

AC Compressor

the grille wont affect airflow over the rad. If you get down low and shine a torch in there, can you see all your air con rad fins?

JEBB4’s Prelude BB6 SiR

Almost certainly the alternator has died (most likely the regulator).

Batteries do recover some voltage over time immediately after the load is withdrawn, however try not to leave it flat for too long otherwise it can reduce the batteries capacity/performance.

Dash Cam needs Batt+ and ACC power.

Easiest to just tap into the radio wires rather if you ask me. If you have an ISO wired head unit, the wires should be easily identifiable as yellow/red...

anyone know this car ?

Cars that have left the country and come back can also suffer registration issues.

my 2.2vti in crystal blue metalic went to somewhere in europe, and then came back and was re-registered with DVLA.

Its now a 2.0i with the colour listed as blue (When it most definitely is more silver than blue).

AC Compressor

The AC should start blowing cold straight away. It wont 'last' though if your not moving however. If the car has been in the sun, you wont get any appreciable affect at all (as the dash has all the heatsoak being black). Revs don't really seem to come into it as far as I can tell - just movement of ...

AC Compressor

The gas going around also carries lubricant,, which stops various seals from drying out. Once they dry out and shrink, you get a leak and the gas l...

Confused, no compression

Are you sure its oil? If you sprayed a lot of carb cleaner into the intake, the dislodged carbon/cleaner mix would look like oil. The valve guides don't really control the oil, the tops of the valves stems are only lubricated by the odd splash of oil (which sort of sits in the top of the seal). It's...

Confused, no compression

Valves can get sticky/stuck in the guides, especially if there is a history of carbon build up from the leaking seals. You can try to break the stickiness of the valves by tapping them with a hammer and drift. NOT bearing on the retainer, but bearing on the valve stem itself with a drift, give them ...
