Okay so here are my snaps from Mimms.
The Stand
Nice Mugen alloys on a DC5
There were some really nice examples of S2000’s on show.
Certainly something I wouldn’t mind having in my garage later in life.
One of the nicer engine bays on show. Travelled all the way from Belgium. The guy who owned this was a big fan of our Preludes, he has one himself but did not bring it.
Nice early Integra
Time Attack Civic
This did go out on track but we did not see it go full steam. Don’t know whether there was an issue, or if he just wanted to give it a run.
Nice converted mini. This was a very tight fit, with the rocker cover scraping slight on the passenger wing. The front end was mainly a carbon mould as well with some aero catches. Very nice.
It has a quick 0-60 run as well.
My attempt at a panoramic shot. Good quality phone picture.....
Mart’s wagon. This is very very nice.
Another tidy CRX. I fell in love with this when I saw it. As soon as I got home I started looking for one online. Haha
LS2 V8 converted S2000. £8000 worth on engine!! It did sound rather nice, and I believe the guy who owned it said he was pushing around 440bhp.
Anyway that’s my collection of amateur photos.
Was an enjoyable day, although there was mainly Civic’s and Integra’s there. But then I guess that’s pretty normal. Would of been good to see some more Prelude’s there to show off what a nice car it is.
There was only 4 in the end, 2 on the stand, 1 5th Gen on another stand, and 1 Silver 4th Gen on track.
