Mate, I really don't think there is any true offence intended. Everybody's sense of humour is a bit different. Just brush it off and treat it as banter.

Yep, always good to get ideas for improvements. And it's not a case of rising above it..just about not taking it that seriously in the first place. You know what I mean?

Yeah I do mate. Ill leave it now. I've got the week off to make my car look half decent. Not that it's going to make a blind bit of difference!

It's better if your car isn't up to scratch this time..so next time, when you've done some work, it will seem better by comparison.kris_aka_edu wrote:I've got the week off to make my car look half decent. Not that it's going to make a blind bit of difference!

It's a lot better than it was by far, but got the feeling what I've done is not enough.

Wtf bit touchy isn't it.kris_aka_edu wrote:I've just spent the last 10 minutes typing all the things I was going to say about his post but I won't say it. I just find it offensive how we've made an effort to enjoy the site as new people and he puts a downer on it because he's above everyone else.
Laugh and the world laughs with you, frown and you look like a miserable git.
That is all.

It's plenty enough! Loads of people on here have 'works in progress'. It's not about bringing a showcar to every meet, but about the community. You'll get it up together for future meets anyway, and most likely gather some inspiration from this one.kris_aka_edu wrote:It's a lot better than it was by far, but got the feeling what I've done is not enough.
Hell, mine is a rolling project. Has a few rust patches that need sorting out, and has squeaky brakes atm cos I can't afford replacement calipers till the end of the month. It doesn't matter though, cos at the next meet it will be a little bit better than last time everyone saw it.
