Well the place I work make gearboxes and diffs mainly, I only made that as I made all the stuff I had to make for my apprenticeship so I had a few days to make other things ;) if I get more time after I've been in milling Il make a couple more if there's enough scrap alley ;)

Lemme guess... For the lathe activities, did you possibly have to make;
- Stepped shafts
- A Plumb-Bob
- Threaded long screws with knurled knob ends and a retaining shoulder (made from the previous stepped shafts)

(If I get that right, next I'll have a stab at what you have to make when you get onto milling ;) )
