Philips Pronto Remote. Was stupidly expensive way back when. Still works, and seems a shame to bin it. Stargate fans should recognise it as the handheld scanner used extensively in the series.

Could this be what i need to transfer all my folks slides onto cd before they perish?
Showing my age but thats what we used to do take photographs and have them made up into slides and then theyd be projected onto a big screen.
