Dash/gauge lights not working

Post by James 5th gen » Wed Jun 21, 2017 4:57 pm

So my dash lights are not working, I've looked around a bit and I've replaced the number 10 fuse in the footwell (15a) still not working though. Also, my tail lights are still working (most people seem to have both go).

The only thing I've changed over the last few days is the steering wheel, would getting rid of the cruise control affect this? Thanks

Are your front lights out aswell?

About 6 years ago when I was messing about with the cd player wiring a blew a fuse and my dash and front light blew too.

It was a fuse under the bonnet that blew

My front lights are all good, I guess I'm going to have to check all the fuses one by one

Okay so an update on the dash lights, there is a bulb that turns on around the 150mph point and the red dials light up. But still nothing else so does this mean it could be the bulbs? Thanks

All back on but very very dim, the bulbs look almost burnt out so i imagine that's why it's dim. I'm ordering some more soon. I believe the connection was a bit off but after I re twisted the bulbs in it worked again :D so I'm happy again now thanks
