I don’t think I’ve seen such a gormless picture as that for a while, you always catch my good side Nitin!
And yes the caption is true!

Still can’t believe this one.

To educate some more of you as no-one had seemed to of heard of it…We all like and want an NSX. Hell, if price were no issue an NSX-R is everyone’s dream car. Well move over NSX-R as this beast is even rarer and I was shocked to see one at Japfest – I think it came from somewhere in Europe. It’s a rare as any Honda NSR-R GT – apparently only 5 made!
Although I wondered if this was a replica (somehow) as the ‘snorkel’ intake to the engine bay cover is missing. But everything else looks legit to me.

Some serious fappage! :scaredtoss: :scaredtoss: :scaredtoss: :scaredtoss: :scaredtoss: :scaredtoss: :scaredtoss: :scaredtoss: :scaredtoss: :scaredtoss:

Nice pics Nitin, only one thing missing, a brace or two of 3g's, perhaps next year?

Thanks guys. 8-)

Rob, I don't think this was the NSX-R GT (5 rare models). First it's missing the air intake, it doesn't have Spoon wing mirrors, also the seats were leather and the actual car doesn't have leather (probably lighter suede or alcantara). Plus if I owned a NSX-R GT, I would never take it out of the garage.

Not so sure - I've never seen a replica of the rest of the kit. The snorkel might be a personal preference.

Anyway, you were one of the ones who didn't know what it was? Wikipedia helping you out? :poke:

No reason why the seats wouldn't be red leather - at the prices they sold for they could probably have anything they wanted. Plus the Spoon mirrors are nothing to do with the NSX-R GT that Honda press released pics of. The Spoon one is the most famous of the GT's (one of which is a replica in the states (LHD model)) which has these mirrors but it doesn't set it apart from being a GT.

A lot of people have speculated that the 5 made were a myth, but who knows? Its still a pretty nuts car to see in the flesh, replica or not it looked perfect. 8)
