Simply Jap @ Beaulieu - 29th July 2018
Right then ladies and gentlemen. I've put the wheels in motion to book a joint stand at Simply Jap @ Beaulieu on the 29th July 2018 - https://www.beaulieu.co.uk/events/simply-japanese/
This will be a joint stand as we did last year (and a JDM Combe this year) with ATROC & LG. It works well in my opinion, many ATR owners have owned Ludes and vice-versa, and we all enjoy taking the pee out of each other.
This is a thread to gauge interest, i've told Beaulieu an initial count of 15 cars...optimistic?...well you never know! It shouldn't be difficult between the two clubs.
So check your diaries and put your name down if you are up for this. Appreciate it is a long trip for Northerners, but for us Southerners there's no excuse to miss it!
Only other question is Gazebo - yes or no. We've had gazebo space the last couple of years which offers some shade from the sun (or rain if it happens) and a place to sit down and chat. The disadvantage is that if we book gazebo space we will definitely be in field area rather than the central bit, so perhaps a little bit away from the main crowd action. This has advantages for the socially awkward though. If we say no to gazebo, we could still end up in the field anyway. Where would people prefer to go? Perhaps those who have been before can chirp in on this and share an opinion?
Anyway -
